One thing that MSPs and independent IT service provider’s share is their local presence. MSPs are typically larger organizations that can boast offices in multiple countries. Although this makes them seem bigger and more powerful, they do not have the ability to maintain massive amounts of resources and must rely heavily on local employees who may belong to other local firms or even regions.

On the other hand, an MSP can ensure a better level of security, since it can ensure that its data centers are always operational even when the company is abroad.
