If you’re already running your own in-house IT department, there may be no need for a managed service provider solution. In most cases, there are better solutions available to businesses that don’t already have the level of experience needed to ensure their networks are not only secure but also able to withstand the worst that can happen. With that said, however, it’s always a good idea to have a backup plan in place. Businesses should always consider conducting regular backups of their most critical data files in order to ensure that they can continue operations if a disaster were to occur. For many companies, this process doesn’t even have to be a full-time commitment; a simple backup method can be sufficient in many situations, and it can be just as effective at protecting the assets of an MSP as it is an in-house solution.
